So I was driving this morning, when suddenly both the DSC light and handbrake light turn on yellow, I started feeling the rear end losing traction on a roundabout, so apparently TC and DSC just died on me.
I pulled over, turned the car off, waited a few minutes, and turned it back on, and the light was no longer there and I had those assists working correctly.I know some of the ground connections are completely fried, considering the headlights do whatever they want and sometimes both don’t work at the same time, but honestly I do not know where to start with this one. Anyone have any idea what’s going on, or what I should look for?
Some car specs:
Engine: 2.0L i4 M47 204-D4 turbodiesel (euro spec, no diesel particle filter)
Trans.: 6-speed manual
Kilometres: Well over 250.000kmUPDATE: Found a snapped wire coming from somewhere around the brake servo and going somewhere on the bumper support, I’ll try to post pictures when I have some time.
UPDATE 2: Turns out that wire is a temperature sensor used by the A/C.
