So after getting some strong vibration & noise when pressing the brake pedal, I took it to the mechanic & he replaced all 4 rotors & pads. (They needed to be done anyways been awhile.) Just got it back & today I went to the grocery store & noticed the pulsation is back, but it’s happening less, & the sound is not noticeable.

I’m wondering if this is normal for new pads? Or is something still wrong?

Being brand new rotors and disks. It shouldn’t be that. Can it be the abs?

No, It shouldn’t do that with new pads. I often find it’s the friction material used or an installation problem. Likely the pads and rotors that were used. OR you could have a caliper problem. More info here.

Okay quick update: I got my mechanic to come by & he test drove it again. He said it was the ABS speed sensor in one of the wheel bearings. He confirmed it by pulling the ABS fuse then testing it again. Now no pulsing at all. Gonna get those bearings replaced asap.
