I recently replaced my egr valve in my 02 honda because it kept pulling the code p0401. After doing that my check engine light was still on and it was still pulling the same code. I learned that i would probably have to clean the intake, so i did that and put everything back, turned the car on and it was running good. But then i started having idling issues and it kept surging. I fixed that issue and the car seemed to be running fine, then on my way to work i heard a little muffled rattle and then my car stalled out. When i try to start it now it doesnt do anything. The lights come on but no sounds from the engine. No crank no start. Could i have done something wrong when cleaning rhe intake? I wasn’t having problems before..

Whenever you do something and a new problem occurs, carefully look over your work.
Did you disconnect any electrical connectors when you cleaned the intake?
Maybe one didn’t fully seat when you reconnected it or maybe you forgot to reconnect one.
Did a wire get pinched when you reassembled things?
        Take a very careful look.
Next, make sure the battery is fully charged and there’s no corrosion on the battery terminals.
Check the fuses to be sure it isn’t just something simple like a blown fuse for the ignition circuit.
Honda ignition switches can go bad and cause a no crank/no start
        These should help

Cleaning the intake and replacing the EGR shouldn’t affect the starter. This sounds like an electrical problem to me. The rattle you heard could have been a normal consequence of losing electricity to the fuel pump or injectors. Check the electrical connections around the intake that there aren’t any disconnected or poorly seated connectors, check your main power and grounds, and check that your battery terminals are clean and shiny. Check where the ground attaches to the body that it is clean and free of rust and corrosion.
