My wife and I just bout this car and I have just noticed this problem. It’s an 02 CR-V with an auto transmission, AWD, and about 73K on the clock.
The vibrations is not really bad, but it’s there and I’d like to diagnose it while it’s still under warranty (60 days), otherwise I wouldn’t care about it much. The vibration seems to be related to speed (not engine speed). At highway speeds I can’t notice it, but it may be just be too high of a frequency to notice. It’s mostly under acceleration or going up a steep hill, and sometimes when stopped at a light while in gear.
It’s not unlike when I put a cheap aftermarket CV axle on my old Subaru (though that was worse). We bout it from a Toyota dealer, so I’d like to be able to tell them what needs to be done rather than the symptoms.
Thank
