02 buick lesabre lighting problem

hey guy’s,

I have an 02 buick lesabre 3.8 liter v6 i have no tag lights or gauge cluster lights just the ones that light up the gauges i have lights on the bottom of the cluster. I checked all fuses in both fuse boxes under the hood and backsit. All fuses are good question is could the rear tag lights and cluster lights run off the same circuit and possibly controlled by the headlight switch? I am thinking that i may have a bad circuit inside the switch itself that controls all the other lights headlights , tail lights ect. please let me know thanks for any help of this .
