i know how covers come off least think i have idea but i went go do it and looks like bolts in timing cover holding valve covers to block can anyone give some direction if that case do need take chain off and retime? i took all bolt off top i pulled on it and looked like still bolted behide timing cover

Most of the the time the timing cover does not have to come off. Some times you need to loosen it to sneak the valve cover out from underneath it.
2. Absolutely no point in changing cam bearing, or headgaskets if there is not a problem.
3. Your not “in there”. To pull the head off you would have to pull the timing chain off, most likely pull the cam out, then pull the head off. New gasket in, new bolts. Cams back in, re-timed. It’s alot of work, don’t waste your time. Im assuming your changing that valve cover due to an oil leak?
yes oil in valley where plugs are and on back motor where valves stop at on head by exhaust manifold
Do the valve covers, don’t worry about the heads or anything else, unless there is a problem. Doing a head job is difficult.
