I just did a complete front and rear brake job on my 01 forester(new rotors drums pad shoes hardware). And now somewhere in the rear(think left but hard to isolate exactly) there is a click click click noise that presents itself under light braking under 10 MPH till car stops(like when your rolling up to a stop sign). the clicking kinda sounds like when you get a rock in tire tread how it clicks on every tire rotation(as matter fact that was first thing I looked for when heard it) Have triple checked my work, made sure all spring correct, shoe hold down pin not bent, adjuster correct, adjuster arms and pins correct, drums not out around, shoes appear to be arched correctly and sitting correct, also checked to make sure no wheel weights interfering because did rotate tires at same time as brake job.
Has anyone come across this on Subaru’s before?
Or on a brake job in general?
