Hello,
I am looking at getting a crate engine for my 01 Buick Regal GS car and I am hoping to get some tips and good-to-knows about certain parts that the supercharged 3800 series II engine experiences. I have heard that the stock rocker arms are vulnerable to lead foots (which I am unfortunately a member) so I plan on ordering premium rocker arms. Are there any other suggestions that I should consider with building the crate engine? At this time I am looking at the “ATK Engines Remanufactured Crate Engine for 1997-2007 Chevy/Buick/Olds/Pontiac with 3.8L Supercharged V6” engine on Jegs.
