Hello,
I just got done looking at a friends car for her because it started overheating. We flushed the radiator and when I tool the lower radiator hose it looked like oil was in it. I ran a flush kit through it and did two cycles of just water through it until the water came out clear. I also replaced the thermostat because all the seals were done from the oil. The car now does not overheat however when bleeding the cooling system there seemed to be oil entering the system again. I did a pressure check on the cooling system and could not find any leaks in the system I also did a compression check and it was 120 PSI on all 4 cylinders. Im thinking that the issue could still possibly be a head gasket that is no bad around the cylinders but has a oil to water jacket crack. I want everyones input to see if there is anything else it could be and also I wanted to see if there was another wat to check the head gasket without removing the head since the compression test checked out.
