If you have an oil pressure warning light on, or your oil pressure gauge reads low, it may be time to check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge. You need to determine if it's a problem with the sending unit or if you really do have low oil pressure.

So this 1997 Nissan Altima came in with a really bad engine noise. At first I thought it was the alternator but it turned out to be something else. You'll have to watch the video to find out what. The purpose of this video is to show a logical method of finding an engine noise like this.

In that video we found that the radiator had a massive crack in the top tank. In this video we go through the process of replacing that radiator without even lifting the car up off the ground or going underneath it.

This is another in my series of 'The Basics'. If you run into an overheat issue on your vehicle, and you suspect a leak, this is the best way to find it. Putting pressure on the system will cause it to leak and reveal the leaks location in the process.
