When this video was shot dad and I were driving the Power Tour 2019. He had put about 500 miles on the truck, the first 500 miles since I put it together. In this episode I wrap things up in the engine compartment of #ETCGDadsTruck. This includes the installation of the new transmission cooler lines, the fuel lines, as well as some other miscellaneous stuff.
In this episode I install the freshly rebuilt engine along with the new Monster Transmission in #ETCGDadsTruck. It’s not rocket science, but I do provide some helpful tips on installing engines and transmissions that may apply to your vehicle, especially if it’s a RWD pick up truck.
#ETCGDadsTruck got a freshly rebuilt 4L60E from Monster Transmission. The transmission package came with the HGM CompuShift controller, but I got the B&M transmission cooler separately from Summit Racing.
This video covers the installation of roller lifters, roller rockers, and pushrods. It also covers how to align the rocker arms and set up pushrod guide plates. This work was done on a small block Chevy, but the principals apply to other engines getting these parts.
