My father was the auto shop foreman for Sears for 25 years. Craftsman tools were a must have. I inherited his tools and have expanded the selection over the years. My son is a truck driver for a steel products company and is on the road constantly and often has to make roadside repairs. He could use a compact tool set to take with him. I am evaluating the quality and warranty of the Craftsman tools under their new ownership. If it’s broke I can fix it. If it ain’t broke I can fix that too!

I started automotive tech. school in 1976 with hand-me-down Craftsman tools from my father and a two-drawer Craftsman Rally Box I bought at Sears (which I still have). I dropped out at the half-way point and took a different career path. I’m retiring this year and instead of sitting on the front porch all day I’m going back to finish automotive tech. school in August. It would be a fitting tribute to replace my worn-out Craftsman tools with a new set. Thanks for inspiring guys like me to finish their education–it’s never too late!

Great contest! I am the worst when it comes to keeping my tools organized. Winning the tool box and some new tools to add in there would be great!!
