March 2015 was a hard month for me. I actually reached a point where I had to walk away from ETCG work for a week. I believe this condition is commonly called, “Burnout”. Although it is better to ‘burn out than fade away’, I feel I still have a lot to accomplish with EricTheCarGuy before I call it quits. I’m glad I took the week off however. Spending time with my grandson, my oldest son, and of course, my dad as you may have seen in one of the latest ETCG1 videos, was just what I needed. It helped me gain a little perspective, get some much needed rest, and gave me time to think about how to move forward and avoid that situation again in the future. Now, it’s time to get back to work.

First Newsletter of 2015

etcg smile

Well friends, another year has passed. Before I write the first newsletter of the year, I make a point of reading the first newsletter from the previous year. I do this to review the things I had hoped I would do and compare them to the things I was actually able to accomplish. I also do this to get a perspective on the year as a whole and help develop plans for the coming year.
