1990-2001 Honda/Acura Integra Clutch Replacement VManual
Description
This Vmanual covers the step by step, bolt by bolt replacement of the clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing on a 1993 Acura Integra. The information in this video will also apply to Acura Integras from 1990-2001 as well as Honda Civic’s of the same vintage.
The VManual also covers the diagnosis of a bad clutch as well as how to adjust clutch pedal free play after you complete the job. This VManual does not cover the specifics on clutch hydraulics, however, this is only a minor omission since all you need do with the clutch hydraulics is unbolt the 2 12mm fasteners securing the slave cylinder to the transmission, and set it aside when doing the clutch replacement on models equipped with hydraulic clutches. No bleeding necessary. If you want more information on how to diagnose and repair the clutch hydraulics on these vehicles, click the video link in the description below.

In addition to the diagnosis and replacement of the clutch, this VManual also contains a complete tool list, a demonstration of lifting the vehicle for clutch replacement, the clutch alignment procedure, transmission fluid replacement, how I handle resurfacing the flywheel, and also setting the clutch pedal free play on a cable operated clutch. Rear main seal replacement is not covered, but this procedure will get you there if you have a manual transmission on one of these vehicles. So if you’re looking for a complete video on the clutch replacement for the 1990-2001 Acura Integra or Honda Civic, this is the VManual for you.
You can save hundreds by doing this job yourself and my VManuals are a great way to guide you through this process. VManuals are better than repair manuals because you’re watching an actual video of the process over reading it in a manual. I feel it is a more engaging experience as a result. I also bring my years of Honda experience to show you little tips and tricks I use to make the job easier. If nothing else after watching the VManual you will know exactly what’s involved with the job and feel more confident in doing it yourself.
If you don’t know if you need a clutch or not, you can use the information in this video to help you make that determination.
