I LOVE my new air system. Yea, it’s way better than the old system. Well, there wasn’t really a ‘system’ before, just a 25 gallon compressor. Still, what I have now works very well. I want to thank my land lord for supplying all the pipes. That saved me a ton of $$ and made for a better system than PEX would have.

Two questions. First if I understand correctly your tire inflator is hooked up to an air tool oiler. I know its a very small amount of oil, but is there any concern putting that through a TPMS sensor?

Second do you think regulated vs unregulated air makes that much of a difference? Like most people I know, I run full line pressure to tools. I’d believe it shortens tool life, however I’m not sure it shortens it that much. Is there another reason for the regulators that I am missing?

Many people have mentioned the oiled air for my inflator. I don’t believe it’s an issue, and up to this point, it hasn’t been. And yes, I have run it through some TPMS sensors.

As for regulated pressures, I think it’s a good idea. Air tool manufacturers list the psi that is optimal for their tools. I like sticking to manufacturer specified things when I can.

              Hey ETCG,
Did your electrician also install a 220 volt line for your Plasma Cutter/Welding Cart or are you still running it off of a 110 volt line?

The plasma cutter runs off of 110
